Peer Tutoring
Peer tutors are students who have done well in certain subjects
and who now wish to assist other students who are having difficulty
with topics in those subjects. Students can target specific problem
areas with the assistance of somebody who has successfully handled
the problem themselves. They also benefit from receiving individual
attention.
Past peer tutors have said they too benefit from the experience.
As well as refining their communication skills, they say they've
clarified their understanding of the topics they are asked to cover.
