Dr Ron Balnave retired from his Senior Lecturer position, but has maintained a presence in an honorary capacity, and continues to supervise his postgraduate research students.

Dr Balnave's main research  interests are mechanisms of muscle contraction, control of cardio-respiratory function, and shoulder dysfunction.
