Aparna is a PhD student jointly supervised by Dr John Burne & Dr Ian Cathers.

Aparna is investigating the inhibitory pain pathways in the upper limb. The aim of the research is to find out an objective measurement of pain by studying the inhibition of the muscle electrical activity by pain afferents.
