Continuing Professional Education in Stuttering
A program has now been determined for 2008. Events
include clinic visits, internet discussion groups and workshops. All events
include a registration fee. For further information please contact
the CPES Coordinator.
Clinic Visits
Speech Pathologists are able to visit the Stuttering Unit at Bankstown Community Health Centre for a full day
(commencing at 8:45am and concluding at 4pm) to observe specialist clinicians assessing and treating
clients of all ages. Time is also made available for visitors to discuss their own clients and other clinicial
issues. Visits on the dates listed below can be arranged through the CPES Coordinator.
Places are limited and fill quickly so early bookings are essential. Visits are scheduled for the following dates in 2008:
The internet discussion group is a new venture for CPES this year. Participants will be able to join online conversations where they will can ask CPES presenters topic related questions during the month long period. There are two internet discussion groups planned for 2008.
